The five-day New Year Festival in Alaçatı has opened its doors. Those who wanted to buy the best gift for their loved ones before the New Year met in Alaçatı. 

The New Year Festival, organized in collaboration with Alaçatı Tourism Association and Çeşme Municipality, was flooded by the people of İzmir from the first day. The ornaments and gifts prepared by the tradesmen for the event, which was held in a street festival style in accordance with the spirit of Alaçatı, attracted great attention. The delicious flavors offered to the guests provided a feast of taste for the visitors. The guests, who formed long queues in front of the stands throughout the day, had their fill of fun by accompanying the music played with their dances. 
 
Çeşme Mayor Ekrem Oran and his wife Nuriş Oran also visited the event area. Alaçatı Tourism Association President Necat Çelikok stated that they received great interest from the first day and said, “This is the first time we have organized this festival in accordance with the spirit of Alaçatı and we understood that everyone wants such an event. We will expand this festival even more with different events next year. We wish everyone a good year in advance, may the new year bring health and happiness.”
